Amanda Rizzuto

Registered Kinesiologist

Amanda graduated from the Kinesiology and Health Sciences program from York University. She is a registered Kinesiologist and is in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. Amanda has been working in retirement homes, long-term care facilities and multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinics for 10 years where she has gained experience in providing exercise prescription and treatment plans.  

In addition, she has worked with a wide range of individuals and groups including those with musculoskeletal disorders, neurological disorders, individuals suffering from sports injuries, osteoporosis, visual impairments and Alzheimer clients. Amanda enjoys helping all demographics and the most rewarding part is to see the client improve and recover from their ailment.

Tony Bahia

Physiotherapist Assistant
Certified Personal Trainer
Tony studied four years of Physical Education from UFPE( Universidade Federal de Pernambuco - Federal University of Pernambuco) and opened his own Chinese Martial Arts school in Brazil in 2003. In 2010, Tony moved to Toronto and completed his personal training certificate with Can Fit Pro.   Since that time, Tony has worked with 1 on 1 clients and group fitness and martial arts classes to help build their self-confidence, strength, assisted with weight loss, managed their mood disorders and facilitated clients in achieving their personal health goals.

In addition, Tony has worked with clients at rehabilitating their back pain, shoulders, knee problems and other chronic health conditions. He was very pleased with his client's results that he decided to continue his education as a  Physical Therapy Assistant. In 2016, Tony received his diploma from the National Academy of Health and Business in Toronto and he has been applying what he was taught in his Physical Therapy Assistant program with his current clients.

What is a Personal Trainer? A Personal Trainer is someone who is certified to help clients achieve their fitness goals. They are there to motivate and educate clients on the importance of exercise and eating healthy.
